Hello Lucid Dreamers and all of DV

      Hi there everyone.
A few years ago i learnt about lucid dreams and since a few months I have been actively trying my best to improve my knowledge about them as well as the chance of inducing one.
I have been using all sorts of websites as sources of information (dreamviews, the subreddit, youtube and whatever google led me to). Since I have been spending more and more time here as well as listening to the podcast to keep lucid dreaming on my mind I thought it would be about time to register. To be honest I have never used forums except for lurking but by registering on DV I will be thinking about lucid dreaming more often. Also I am looking forward to participating in the talk about LDs as well as getting in contact with all the interesting members :3

As for my progress with lucid dreaming:
I have been reading up on and trying all kinds of different induction techniques and aids (MILD, WILD, DILD, DEILD, FILD, SSILD, WBTB, ADA, Meditation, Visualisation, Mantras, Dream Journaling, RCs, etc). Currently I have had 2 "real" lucid dreams in which I actually did a RC (by which they were induced DILD style) but I didn't think about a routine beforehand (where I concentrate on my senses etc to make everything realistic as well as constantly reminding myself of being lucid) so they weren't all that long. I meditate daily whenever I feel like it, I write all of my dreams in my digital Android journal, and I do a WBTB almost every night. My dreams aren't always exceptionally vivid but I usually remember 2-3 (up to 6 which is my record) every day and sometimes the entries of certain ones get really long and detailed. Even though I am having the most surreal dreams that are almost never even close to reality (even dreaming in top view or 3rd person very often) I never realise anything odd. But I am convinced this will change and I will be able to say I am having several LDs every night with the help of you lovely people :3

I don't think shared dreams or anything of the likes are a real thing and I like to keep this stuff in the realm of science

feel free to contact me anytime 。◕‿◕。

HI & Welcome to DV CursedSeraphim!

Belonging to a community really keeps you in the game, so you've made the right choice. The best advice I can give you is, don't swap and change all the time with techniques. Find one you like and give it a red hot crack. And most of all, master the basics and work your way up
