Hello fellow dreamers :)

Hello, I'm EloraLou. I was led to be interested in lucid dreaming by my boyfriend when he decided to start trying to be lucid. When he started doing research and telling me about what all he learned, I began to realize that I have a natural ability as a dreamer. Though I have not done much exploring in my dreams, nor have I experimented with what all I can do, I am almost always aware of the fact that I am dreaming. I will shift back and forth in my dreams from actively participating, and sitting back to observe. I had just always thought that I dreamt in the same way that everyone else does. But after talking to my boyfriend, I realized that was not the case. We have now both taken a leap into the dreaming world and are pushing ourselves to take control of our dreams (because I am already prone to knowing I am dreaming, I am having more luck than he is) but we both still have many questions and need guidance. I hope that keeping up with my dreams online and participating in challenges can help me to stay focused and more task oriented in my dreams. I also hope that being able to chat about my experiences will help to keep me from getting discouraged at any point (I'm an instant results type of person).

Anyway, I am very happy to be here, and am very excited to get to know some fellow dreamers!

I hope the dreamers and info here will help you and your boyfriend succeed in your dreaming goals... But be careful about "taking control," though; sometimes just "understanding" or "working with" the forces of your dreaming mind is enough for some serious adventure and learning!

Tasks of the Month & Year ---------------> This will give you a great motivation to LD as these tasks are fun and gives you a reward for accomplishing them (and that will be an extra goal to help yourself to LD!)
Lucid Dares ------------------------------->This thread has a ton of lucid tasks for you to do. I have been personally adding some basic tasks to get started plus other some advanced tasks as well. Many other users are adding dares for everyone as well as making personal dares, it is lots of fun.
