Thread: Total Recall - an introduction

Hello forum! I am a very avid and naturally adept dreamer. What brings me here is my most recent episode of SP that was unlike any of my other SP experiences. A googs search lead me here on the subject and I was (less then) shocked that my google research suggests SP, the way I experience it, is uncommon! This vain attempt at integrating into the forum stems from my desire to share my many and fanciful dreamscapes - maybe harness or tame them, so to speak...

Of course SP isn't a very pleasant thing to experience, what I found to be strange was... The nature of this episode and how little fear was present. Anyways I'll delve further into that whole mess later, hopefully, for now I'll give a little more background info on myself and my dreams.

I have a tendency to have very vivid dreams - even some psychic/prolific-esque ones (Example: seeing books in a vivid dream then being asked if I wanted to go to the library upon waking) some of these experiences I can easily rationalize away -i.e I overheard my grandfather talking to my grandmother about going to the Library while I was sleeping. Some are not as easily dismissed by logic.

Also, it's usually very easy for me to lucid dream. Although I possess very little, to no ability, to "control" my dreams... (control is an illusion anyways) I have a basic ability to stop horrid dreams by either waking up or switching channels so to say. This kind of plays a hand in how I managed my last episode of Sleep Paralysis.

As for the waking world. I'm a honor-bound skeptic, astute scientific thinker and self-proclaimed narcissist

I've dabbled with both insanity, drug use AND abuse. All in the name of "enlightenment" and dare I say it's been WILD <-

Anyways, this is a fascinating website and idea for a forum in general - I aim to get my many words out there and read just as many, if not more! Hope this becomes a nice place for me to visit all too frequently!
