      Smile Hey everyone!

Hi there people of the internet!

I've had random lucid dreams in my childhood.(26 now). But never had much control over them. Unfortunatly they usually turned out to be nightmares where I was being chased by somekind of monster.
The monster was usually something that consisted of what I've seen on TV or what has been popular subject somewhere else. So somedays I got chased by a Tyrannosaurus and other nights by something as simple as a Lion.
I always had some controll over the dreams, such as being aware it wasn't real and not feeling any pain inflicted, it never seemed possible to escape the inevitable. After I got my first computer, and experienced frequent freezing and crashing early computers had the tendency to do, I somehow managed to use that to my advantage inside my lucid nightmares.
I balled myself up, closed my eyes and popped up a keyboard to use ctrl+alt+del and end the dream and wake up.

A few years passed and the nightmares went and so went the ability to have lucid dreams. I did experience several episodes of sleep paralasys, but that also stopped at a certain point.

It was just recently I've been having some very vivid and sometimes lucid dreams again, without them being nightmares and I've been doing a lot of reading about the subject. The dreams do still consist of a current theme or event, but I've had much more controll over them such as the ability to fly, create things and have conversations with people.

After reading a lot of stories on here I decided to become a member here and explore this new reality even further .
