Hi,
I'm in a very similar situation. I started getting into LD a couple of years back, mainly because it interested me, but also as I was experiencing a lot of nightmares and I thought having control over my dreams would help me. Which it did.
Then my wife had a baby, so for about 10 months we weren't getting more than 4-6 hours of sleep a night, which meant dreamless nights most of the time.
For the last 6-7 months, since baby started sleeping through the night most of the time, I have just been too tired to keep a dream journal and I haven't been consistent.
I don't have many tips - but I do find that thinking about LD and doing reality checks during the day can really help. Over the last 1.5 years (since baby arrived), I still had a number of LD simply because I thought about LD quite a lot and this resulted in a few DILD. Often I would just say to myself "this looks odd - let's do a RC" or maybe I would happen to be readying a street sign or my watch which gave it away...
Other than that, I am planning on re-reading some of the books on LD I have and to slowly start writing in my DJ again as I would like to begin LD more often again.
Good luck!
