Thread: Hi Everyone!

Hi everyone, LD newbie here.

I'm currently 40 years old and only had 1 lucid dream experience in my 20s, I still vividly remember it today. It triggered because I was introduced to it for the first time and started reading about it.

Recently, I've started to pay more attention and deep interest. I've read a few LD books and gradually implementing a few simple techniques including writing a dream journal. In addition, I've started a daily meditation practice in waking life.

Ever since I could remember I’ve always had a intuitive feeling that there was more to life than what we’ve been told through parents, schools, media, religion etc.. I’ve never had a rigid belief system and always kept an open mind as well as thinking for myself. The conventional idea of a “God” a man who judges whether we go to heaven or hell based on our life lessons never resonated with me and still doesn’t. I’ve always been fascinated by the nature of reality, consciousness, who we really are and the nature of life itself. This quest or journey has led me to coming across many books, experiences, places, synchronicities etc..

I feel we are all aspects or expressions of the Whole Universe / Infinite Consciousness having an human experience through the physical body in order to learn and evolve. Perhaps, it’s not even to learn or maybe just to remove the layers of fear, doubt and disbelief and to awaken to our true nature…”sometimes we can only see clouds and times seem dark and grey. However, it is the clouds that are temporary; the sky is always blue behind the clouds.”
