      Question help with dreams ASAP

I haven't been able to remember dreams, even feel or see a dream, I know we have dreams every night, but I don't even think I'm having them at this point. It started when I wanted to try lucid dreaming again, it has been a week so far. When I was trying to lucid dream in the past I got 1 lucid dream which was amazing. I think it's because I'm trying too hard to lucid dream, but I don't know, another thing is do we reality check when we see our dream but it's the state where you can only watch the dream and think nothing of it, or do we do it if we can't even see or feel a dream at all?

We can distract ourselves from recalling a dream by thinking we can't recall a dream or otherwise stressing about the process. In this way, stress can get in the way of our realizing what we dreamed about, causing a sort of fog, a sense of not knowing.

Think of recalling a dream as a passive process, like waiting for fog to clear. Ask your mind a question like "What happened?" to orient your mind toward your goal and relax and wait a minute to see if an answer becomes clear.

Realizing when we might be dreaming is like realizing what we dreamed about. It like a fog clear and it just become clear to us that we might be dreaming. The reality check is like a confirmation that we're dreaming.

Sounds like you're struggling with recall, which I think we all can relate to.

Perhaps making a morning ritual out of giving yourself time to recall before jumping out of bed or grabbing the phone, that's always helped me to increase my dream recall. Also priming your mind before falling asleep by telling yourself you will remember all dreams when you wake up, or even visualizing yourself waking up in the morning excited because you had the dream you wanted.

Try signaling to your brain you desire the information, then give it time in the morning to let yourself remember as dolphin said. Doesn't have to be an all-or-nothing, sometimes recall can be fleeting and you only remember a small detail or a feeling or a person, that is good! Write down or document in some form everything you do remember every morning and your mind will catch on and hold onto more and more information for you, at least that's how I've experienced it. Good luck!
