When i realized i was dreaming, i managed to stay calm, but for some reason i felt myself going back into a state of blurriness, even though i was aware. in a few moments i was awake. your subconcious did not ignore the fact that you were dreaming you have no control over your subconcious and i am relatively sure no one does
it was your concious mind that lost to the subconcious
next time try to concentrate on a detail of something like the floor or you hands this some times would help me to become concious in my dreams
