Hey hey! It is so cool to chat to people that I have things in common with.

I am an artist. I love drawing. At a time I sold my drawings at the arts and crafts in bloemfontein, but I had to pay so much rent, I never made any money. now I sell my own Drawings. I only make use of pastell. oil pastell to be specific. I would realy like to try oil painting, but I'm a bit afraid to do that. At the moment I have 7 ordrs to finish. Sometimes I just don't have time to draw or sometimes I am just too lazy!

I also play keyboard and I write my own songs. One of my songs woold have been recorded in a recording studio in bloemfontein. I was so excited. could not wait!!! But, it was not recorded and I was so sad! I still think it is quite an achievement. Don't you? Well, my parents don't!! Nothing is good enough.

Sometimes I just need someone to motivate me. I wish there was just One person to motivate me. Oh man!!!

I achieved a lot. Every year since I was 12, I went to th SA Gymnastic games and always received a GOLd or BRONZE medal.Am I supposed to be proud of that? I am now 17. I don't do gymnastics. I broke my arm and kind of lost the use of my hand. I went through a lot of opperations to fix my arm, but all that's left are scars. Guess thats why I call myself scar.

Hey, Scar welcome to dremaviews, you need motivation, but in what, well I guess motivation is a key to just about everything nowadays, I spent years trying to uncover the best ways to motivate myself, so far I've found one good way.
I know it sounds cheasy but this works, just focus on the good, go to someplace quite and reflect on everything you would get out of being motivated, then often it helps to be aware of the bad to since not being aware of it may cause stress, take for example my goal.

Lucid Dreaing:
the bad
.Get up in the middle of the night to practice
.takes alot of work
.may have to write down dreams, pain in the neck at 4am
.may lose some sleep after waking up to do WBTB or WILD.
the good
.I get to furfill any fantasy
.once mastered, it will become routine
.never have any desire unfurfilled
(it goes on and on)

for me the good out weigh the bad, and everytime I think of the good, I feel energy pulsing through me

I wanna be the very best
Like no one ever was
To lucid dream is my real test
To control them is my cause

Hi Scar,

I'm new to this but your post really caught my eye. Don't be disheartened because your parents don't like you choices in life, be proud that you're a talented and intelligent young woman.

I'm from Birmingham in England and training as an accountant (sounds boring I know&#33 but i've sold artwork on the side for some years now. I, like you, started off with drawings and pastel works, i prefer working in oil pastels as well and one day just thought right i'm going to try something different. I started off with acrylics and moved on to oils and now use a range of media throughout my work. The feel of creating something new and different really helped me get motivated again when I lost some of my passion for my work.

Anyways about your accident, my partner had to have heart surgery when he was 20 and has a huge right angled scar across his chest and I say to you what I say to him, every time you look at your scars remeber that its part of you and is as beautiful and unique as any other feature or nuance of your form.

Anyway I'm rambling, just remember be proud of everything you do and don't regret anything .

Maybe it was because of the lime green text (which is very hard on the eyes, btw, so I didn't even read it).

But anyway - Welcome to the forum! Enjoy your stay.

Hey man

I would suggest that you talk to a dream character in one of your lucid dreams (assuming you are having lucids) since the people in your dreams are made up by you, and therefore are you, people say they can help u figure stuff out.

I actually wouldnt know because im still working on getting lucid - but it makes since

Well, when in doubt, post somewhere else I suppose.

But anyway, I can see why they thought you were a girl, I thought so too at first until I looked at your gender icon. Future tip, don't post in Lime Green.

Anyway, Welcome to Dreamviews.

Generally when people type in text that causes your eyes to burn, they don't want to read it from beginning to end.
