Hi and welcome to the forum |

I learned about lucid dreaming just out of curiosity and searching on the internet. At first I was really enthusiastic about trying a WILD because I didn't want to wait till night for a DILD. So I started relaxing and repeating "I will lucid dream, I will go from waking to lucidity." after some time I realized that all was very dark. Not normal dark but REALLY dark and no light patterns on my eyelids. Then I could really concentrate and sort of pushed or forced myself to sink into my bed and into the dark (still repeating the sentence.) Then my heart started racing and I was trying to keep my focus but I couldn't hold it. I sort of panicked and woke up. Was I close to achieving my state of dreaming? Any comments or advice would be appreciated. |

Yes, don't spin because it'll ruin your imagination, it did with me anyway "Hey ace I'm spinning" "Oh god I can't walk straight". No No, I was Day Dreaming! |

For newbies, its best to start out with something easier. WILDing is really for the more advanced people, and is a little more difficult when youre just starting out. |
