It's in deed not that easy. I get easily distracted by noises or by too many thought in my mind. In that case, I don't become lucid and something random appears in my dream. I usually succeeded in the late evening hours (just the time I usually go to bed) on a day where nothing exciting happened, and it must be very quite.

Even in a case where the appearance isn't random, as I well planned them to be there?
Interestingly, if I visit people in a dream I never have seen in real life, I don't see their faces, but still I can communicate with them.
