Lor5150, I'm not sure why you feel weak upon awakening.

I normally feel very happy/invigorated after waking up from a lucid dream.

Why do you think you feal weak?

Don't be discouraged The average for first LD, if I had to take a guess, is one to two weeks. Your first real focus should be on dream recall (and reality checks regularly). Once you remember your dream(s) each night your chances of getting lucid go way up.

No, not complete failure. You got up in a great mood
Don't get discouraged, you won't instantly start having LDs. It takes time.

I am a very light sleeper...I can only have my LD's using the wake-back-to-bed method. When I do go back to bed, I fall into such a deep, deep "trance" type sleep...and my LD's are SO vivid ...and unbelievably real...when I do awake (after several awake checks) I feel weak & drained.....I don't know...that's how it has always been for me with LD's. I mean don 't get me wrong, I love it!
