      Are you rested?

After you have a lucid dream, and you get up in the morning, are you as rested as you would be from a normal nights sleep?

Actually, I feel as though as I got an even better rest than if I just would normally sleep.

Thanks Axel. I didn't want to have lucid dreams if it meant that I would be falling asleep during class. Thanks again.

I think it may depend on instances, people, etc. Sometimes I feel very rested, and other times I feel like I may have expended more energy than if I had simply just tried to rest normally.
"“Evil? Good? These are merely words. In the eyes of the universe neither of those exist. There are only three elements, that act as a base for all that you see around. There is Light. There is Dark. And there is the balance between those two. Good and Evil are concepts, used to deny oneself from serving the balance. By serving, you participate in the great creation."

I've only had a few lucid dreams, but when I wake up from them I feel very energetic and excited. And it lasts through the day, not just right after I wake up.

If you got the lucid dream through WBTB, you might feel more tired because you woke up during the night. But that doesn't have anything to do with having the lucid dream itself.

It varies depending on the LD.
If it's a really intense LD - stressful, etc - then I'm less rested.

Otherwise I wake up feeling great!

      Yes, LDs are strangly refreshing.

I don't know the scientific reason why. Perhaps it is all just psychological.

It's a common misconception that lucid dreaming de-values your sleep time. My theory is, since you're using your brain more during lucids, you get a feeling of refreshment from that brain use, ontop of the normal relaxation from a dream. but then again, I could be wrong!
