      hello

i've recently become aware of the concept of lucid dreaming. i've been aware that i was dreaming before and have manipulated dreams, but have never done so intentionally. i'm looking forward to exploring this new path. i've read the site and am going to start keeping a notebook by the bed and am going to try controlling dreams for a variety of reasons.

i'm an artist and am interested in and curious about almost everything. i think lucid dreaming could be an untapped source of inspiration and a means for personal growth.

i look forward to exploring this forum and talking to people about this.

      Hello and to the forum.

Be sure to read the main site and the tutorials, both of which provide helpful information on getting started with lucid dreaming. You can also keep a dream journal here. And you may want to read the quick start guide for information about the forum itself.

You seem experienced in LDing already. If you have questions, feel free to PM me. See ya around.

to DreamViews, rojozeke! Keeping a journal is definitely a good idea. We have a section here for that if you are interested in feed-back on your dreams.

Good luck, have fun, and I hope you gain the inspiration you are seeking!

since i got here and have been reading around the site and the forum i haven't had any LD's yet, but i have noticed some benefits. one is that i've been much more able to fall asleep in the last few days. it's hard to explain, but i'm excited by the prospect of being able to use the sleeping time to acomplish things or to overcome challenges. another benefit is that i've been able to remember dreams every morning since i started...one dream a night so far, but this morning i didn't think i remembered anything, then i got a flash of something and began writing and more and more came to me.
