I have the same powers as you have. As long as i can remember, my dreams were epic and full of irrational effects. Lots of anime and programming made my learn lot of usefull effect. So i would say, I have pretty decent dream control. And maybe thats the key, why I sometimes dont like my dreams. Controlling everything and everyone. Having speciall powers are things many people would like to have. Maybe we should search for something different to give our dreams that sparkle we need.

I would also recommend you to study this subject further. You may accidentaly come to new ideas and new approaches to dreaming. And maybe you will also find new friends here.
