From my experience, it is possible to WILD when you go to bed for the night. It just isn't worth it. The dreams i had were dark and very low control, sluggish. Better to get the 5+ hours of sleep first and then try to have a WILD.

Everyone obsesses over that technique, it's like, in nearly every tutorial.

It is obvious why, have you done it? It's amazing.

It's not common it seems, but it is definitely possible. I actually think they are more common for me than WBTB WILDs, and they are usually better (more control and vividness) than WBTB WILDs. Everyone is different, you'll find out what works for you, and what your experiences are with the different techniques.

Anyway, my first WILD was when I laid down at night to go to sleep. I didn't have to wait hours or anything to get in the REM cycle, it just happened pretty quickly. I could feel myself halfway asleep , and I had the choice of waking myself up, or going into a dream, so I went for it. I literally fell asleep, like when I chose to go into the dream I was falling. It is an amazing experience, I really hope you get one soon!

Nah, I've not done it, too much work to plan out, and I hate my alarm. Ontop of that, I'll have to change bedrooms and change the sheets and everything because my dad will wake up when he hears me walking around the house, my room is right next door to his you see.

And ontop of that, I find it hard going into sleep paralysis. And ontop of that. I find it hard keeping my eyes closed, I could go on....

ahh, I don't know why, but whenever I WILD I don't try. I just know when I will be able to. It's sort of a state of mind, I'll notice it when I close my eyes before I go to sleep, I get a lot of hypnagogic imagery.

Also, I almost never go into sleep paralysis, and if I do, its just a minor numb feeling or something. I also rarely get up for a bit before trying to WBTB WILD, I just try it immediately, but maybe I should try it sometime. I just worry that I won't be able to get back to sleep.

I wish I could figure out why I randomly get in that state of mind where I am capable of WILDing. I really wish I could find out how to induce that state of mind myself.

I wish. Theres some people here I think that can do it way more often than me. I also don't have very good control or recall, so I am far from an expert. And they just randomly occur, I have to wait for them to happen, which gets frustrating sometimes because I wish I could have more.

I really wonder what is different about my brain, that allows me to have them, and why they are random. I haven't had one in a while I don't think (crappy memory and recall, blah) so hopefully I have one soon.
