You sure you're not moving? You gotta be completely motionless, not even twitching or swallowing. |

ya no swollowing no twitching no scratching, can my eyes move around or do i have to keep them motionless too? becuase i read somewere you should see these images or something and i was trying to look for them |
|
Ive heard that laying on your side helps with the no swallowing, maybe try that |
|
Theres a few things you can do to help even more, even though you just opposed twitching before it can actually help |

LD count: 75
(17 DEILDs, 54 DILDs, 4 WILDs)
Wow, man, I have the same problem. I have a mild twitch, like a little arm movement every liek 20 minutes. But this shread helps alot |

By far, Mothra (in all of it's forms) is the worst kaiju of all time.
I just wait for a time that I wake up in the middle of the night, then I start reciting the alphabet or counting. |

I have the same trouble i lay on my back and my body is perfectly relaxed but at the same time i'm really aware of my hands, feet and the need to swallow. I sometimes feel like something is about to happen but then i get excited and my breathing changes and my hand twitches and i can't stop it. plus background noise is also annoying |

oh wow was i close? ok so i was laying there for what seemed like forever about to give up then i felt this intense itching below my nose took all my willpower not to sctratch then i felt it by my ear then it totally stopped and i started feeling tingly kinda,i felt like i was spinning to my left really fast and i got kinda twitchy, i couldnt feel my bed and i guess it was a numb feeling. oh and it felt like i was laboring kinda for breath. then i forgot i couldnt swallow and did and the whole thing just faded away... was i close? |

so after that point i just keep laying there and something will happen? |

Yeah you should enter a dream scene, or at least get some hypnagogic imagery. I can usually get that far pretty easy. But once in the dream, I have a hard time staying there. I tend to slide back awake momentarily. But it's fun anyway. |

I have a question: How long does it usually take to enter a dream once you've entered SP? And what's a good way to maintain SP? |

is it better to try to wild when you are tired or well rested? |
|
Hmm, That's a hard one for me to answer. Because I don't get much of the normal SP like some people describe. Like vibrations and what not. I get the hypnotic jerk often though. I usually get HI, and enter scenes pretty quickly. Sometimes I get the floating and spinning sensations. If you keep practicing it you should be able to start entering scenes. |

Thats funny, I've noticed this too and it drives me crazy. It is like the breathing is a social behavior. This is the main reason I can't WILD next to my girlfriend in bed. I have to move to the guest room. It drives me nuts to hear her change her breathing when I change mine. I've also noticed that she always tries to breathe louder than me, if that makes sense. I know it is an automatic response, but it still drives me crazy. |
