      Hello all

I just wanted to say hello. I'm a newbie. I can't remember having a lucid dream when I was younger, but I had one last week after studying about them and having a deep discussion with my wife.
During my LD, I got very excited and tried to control my surroundings and woke up.

This seems like a great site and I'm excited about the knowledge I can gain here.

      Thanks

Not too many thoughts, this is quite normal. Have you been doing regular reality checking and keeping a dream journal/looking for dream signs?

I figure that since April, I have had about 1200 dreams. Only 41 of those have been lucid, and of course that number will vary from person to person as you get more experienced. Don't get discouraged, look how high that number of non-lucids is Just gotta keep with it! ESPECIALLY in the beginning.

It is good though for you to see how a dream can shift and alter depending on your mood and thoughts during the dream, this is something one should really consider regarding dream control. Try this thread, very VERY informative on that topic http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=57283

Welcome!! I'm fairly new myself Kiser, but these people make you feel right at home. Tons of information here, and just as many knowledgeable people, so don't be scared to ask questions.

Waking up after becoming lucid is common for beginners, after a few it will stop happening. Check out the tutorials and feel free to post if you have any questions and to DV
