      Hello! Nice to meet you all :)

      My good friend, Keitorin on this forum, told me of how wonderful this site is. I've always been fascinated by dreams and think they're a lot of fun, but I've never tried lucid dreaming. But hearing my friend talk about her dreams has me wanting to try to control my own! It would definitely be worth it. My dreams have always been very vivid not only in image, but in other senses as well. It'd be awesome to be able to experience just what I want to in dreams! It would also keep me from having those pesky gross-nightmares!! So, I hope to learn a lot from the people here and share with you!

      If you've never had a LD, then im telling you now, you are in for a great surprise!
      I havent been here in a while (thanks to college lol) but you're friend was right. LDing is DEFINITELY worth while. Yesterday morning, i had four LDs all one right after the other and they were incredible. i didnt get much sleep the nights preceding the dreams which probably contributed to my long chain of LDs (REM deprivation, a technique a lot of LDers use to increase the chances of LDing).
      So anyways, stick with it and you'll be glad that you did!

      Welcome to Dreamviews! It is a good sign that your dreams are vivid (especially in non-sight senses!), as this will help you with recall, and is also an indicator of heightened dream awareness.
