Starting a dream journal is the best first step, so you are on the right track. Most people around here have read Exploring the World of Lucid Dreams, so you can always ask if something doesn't make sense.

What is your native language? We have a lot of members from all over the world.

That is a good question. It seems like most people succeed. Maybe we just don't hear back from the people who do not succeed. I think it has a lot to do with your interest and dedication. You will get lucid eventually, as long as you don't lose interest first.

There are so many different ways of approaching it and little things to try, something should work for everyone.
