      Hello, I am new :]

Hi, I'm Sarit, I'm 20 y/o and Ive just starting interested more seriously in all the lucid dreams subject... I'm really a beginner and just starting my way of learning what all of this really means, but I was looking for a place I can ask questions and get help with things I don't really understand...

I just happened to dream too much, so I thought its better if I'll get something out of it :]

For now I'm just trying to write down my every-day dreams. Trying to spot patterns and maybe to interpret some of them, though so far it doesn't seem to be working quite well...
I've got the book "Exploring the world of lucid dreams", I just started it and it should take me a while because my English is very weak.

Yeah, that's it I guess.. I have some more quastions but I guess I'll ask them later when I'll undersnatd how this forum is working better...
      Have a great night y'all!
      -Sarit-

Hi Sarit! Your English is great My Name is Jonathan, and I'm a "Dream Guide" here. I like to help out people who have just joined the forum. Writing down all your dreams is a great step, and you will find a pattern sooner or later. The book you have is an excellent source of information, I wish everyone would read it. Good Luck with the Lucid Dreaming, and dont forget to read the tutorials: http://dreamviews.com/community/showthread.php?t=69883

If you ever need any help here on Dream Views, or with Lucid Dreaming, send me a PM and I will help you out

Hi Sarit, welcome to Dreamviews I am 20 too
If you are worried about your English (which seems fantastic by the way) you may want to check out the tutorials first, as Barbizzle said. They are fairly easy and condensed, but you will find that in Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming (or EWOLD), there is a lot to read and some of it might be difficult to understand. I recommend reading the tutorials first, so you can begin really attempting to lucid dream, and then taking the book at your own pace

Starting a dream journal is the best first step, so you are on the right track. Most people around here have read Exploring the World of Lucid Dreams, so you can always ask if something doesn't make sense.

What is your native language? We have a lot of members from all over the world.

Thanks, I don't think there is anyone in here speaking Hebrew though

I wanted to ask you, does everyone who tried to have lucid dreams succeed? because right now its really hard for me to believe I will ever menage to realize Im dreaming while Im sleeping, or anything like that... :S

That is a good question. It seems like most people succeed. Maybe we just don't hear back from the people who do not succeed. I think it has a lot to do with your interest and dedication. You will get lucid eventually, as long as you don't lose interest first.

There are so many different ways of approaching it and little things to try, something should work for everyone.
