      quick question:
every time I've seen anyone talk about the eyes they said they had them open.
      So open or closed?

and how would one deal with involuntary swallowing?

swalowing. o what a pain in the ass. i only have trouble with saliva build up when i think about saliva in my mouth.

so dont think about it, the mind exersise i mentioned above will help keep you distracted from your physical body.

but if you do still get a saliva build up and need to swallow (or just feel the need to swallow), you will do it naturaly without thinking while your mind is distracted with the above exersise.
and if you do it naturaly, it wont inturupt any SP stuff

I get really hot when I try to WILD too. The longer I stay still the hotter I get. I try to stick it out just to see how far it will go. I just succeed in getting sweaty. Then I start freaking because laying still does weird stuff to me, it's like my skin is crawling or something. I have to move. My mind starts to scream. I know that sounds crazy, but that's just the way it is. Haha. I'll try WILD later, right now I'm trying to work with MILD until I get some happy results. Nothing seems to be working for me.

I've never accomplished a "good" wake induced dream without sleeping first, but yes its possible.

Its just a looooot harder to get into a dream, because your REM has not started.
