      Having a go at Wilds

Kk, i've had a fair few goes at trying to Wild, every afternoon when i'm at home and every night at about 4.00 when i just naturally wake up. But the problem i've got is that i've been trying the method where you just lay still, close your eyes and count your breaths. After about 100 - 150 of counting i can't consciously move myself without waking myself up completely, after about 300 breaths i start to get this wierd feeling. What happens is that i start to feel like i'm being shook side to side really violently and i can normally just ignore this, but after this, its almost like im sinking into my bed, and being swung round by the ankles. It feels so real that i have to move my arms to steady myself and i lose concentration.

I just want to know if i'm actually close to Wilding and if anybody has had the same kinda experience and can gve me some advice.

Experiencing hypnagogic hallucinations indicates that you are very close to crossing the line from waking life to the dream world. Good job.

The best advice I could give would be to realize that the hallucinations are just that, hallucinations, and you have nothing to worry about. They end in time, and won't cause you any harm, so don't panic.

be curious to them, you can experience imposible and irresistible sensations.
maybe they can be horrible, but just ignore them, or look at them passively....I think is interesting the way different people start to enter the dream.

If you're feeling crazy body distortions like that, you are super close to success. Why don't you try encouraging the tactile hallucinations. When you start to feel yourself moving or sinking, imagine it as part of a visualization. Picture yourself on a boat, rocking with the waves, or falling through fluffy clouds. Something positive that fleshes out the hallucination into a more immersive experience. This is probably the last stage where you are entering a dream scenario.

Ironically, that shaking you're feeling, is the feeling of nothingness. Your body is shutting down and your brain gets disconnected from it, so it feels nothing where the nerves from your body once fired, your brain doesn't know what to make of that so it trys to singla you to move it so that it can reestablish contact with it. It's really quiet facinating.

Go for it. That feeling of your mind disconnecting from your body is one of the most fun things for me. I usually feel like I'm tumbling and falling.
