just hallucinations from Sleep Paralysis, they are harmless and are the first part in WILDing. |

Okay well, yes i'm a big noobie in this so called 'Lucid Dreaming' The night before, well I was going to sleep and suddenly I felt like I was in a race car of some sort. I could hear revving noises but I could still hear the background noises in reality, like my mom's voice talking on the phone, and my dog's footsteps. Well, uh what can I say, I felt like I was actually moving in the car and a few minutes after, something bonks me in the head! And bam! I wake up...but I was already awake? So what the heck? That bonk on the head felt real. There isn't anything I could bump my head into near my bed so did I just imagine it? How can I lucid dream? Totally confused right now. Any help would be appreciated. |

Happens to me all the time, usually after a really energetic dream, but occasionally other times too. |

Yeah, I only get it when I'm really tired. But just know that hypnic jerks are normal and everyone gets them. |

You can get all kinds of weird hallucinations when you're on the edge of sleep, like that. Your dream starts overlapping with the real world, and things get real weird real fast. Last night, I felt like the front left side of my scalp was on fire. It felt completely real, and I worried for a second that I would wake up with half my hair missing. |

Someone told me about that type of experience before |
