How long have you been keeping a dream journal? Are you getting enough sleep?

When you wake up, lay still for a couple minutes, focus on remembering the dream, soak up the feeling and memory, then write it down.

Also, before sleep and during wake-back-to-bed, reaffirm your intention to recall your dreams. When you wake up, jot short notes from the main points (for example: dogs, money, lucid, fog, Bob) and then flesh them out, starting with what you least remember.

Just write down as much as you do remember from your dreams. After a while your dream recall should improve and you should be remembering full dreams. If you don't remember much of the dream you could also try to think about things you did during the previous day or things you commonly dream about, hopefully one of those thoughts will help you remember more of a dream.

Yeah, the same thing has been happening to me. I used to have pretty good dream recall, but lately, now that I've began really trying to recall my dreams, it's a lot harder. It's so ironic. Haha.
