Thread: Success!!

I've been a member of this site for almost a year now, even though I don't post often at all (except for my DJ). I've been trying to WILD almost every night, but it never works, and I was on the verge of giving up WILD all together. Well, today, I took a nice little nap, and I thought "what the hell," and went through the WILD process...

and IT WORKED!

I remember at first feeling tingly ALL OVER. I didn't feel like I was floating or sinking or whatever, like a lot of people seem to report. Then, to see if it was SP, I try to move, and I can't move my right arm AT ALL. It was so cool!! So, I just lie there, letting the tingly sensation just continue tingling. Then, it was weird...I was at the window of my dorm, looking out, debating on whether or not I should try to fly . I then preform every reality check in the book, and for once, they don't all "pass" (everythime I RC in a dream, they pass, so it's hard for me to DILD). But, I don't jump...

Another think I would like to point out: plenty of people report feeling some "evil presence" or someone or something in their room, often trying to harm them. I didn't experience anything at all scary. I hope I don't in the future.

So, I guess the point of this post is to send a message to people new to LDing. DON'T GIVE UP! It took me almost a year, but it payed off, and I'm quite excited. Just stick with it, and it'll come, sooner or later!!
