My first attempt at a WILD

Well I randomly woke up at at 5:30am this morning. So I opened my eyes and got a drink (there goes my DEILD ). Anyway, I went back to bed wondering if I should WILD or VILD. I decided to try WILD because I hadn't tried it.
Random info: I was lying face down which my hands under the pillow when trying to WILD which I think may have caused a problem
I was focusing on my breaths, counting to 30 then starting from 1 again. After about 3 of these, a kinda wave of heat ran through my arms and the lower part of my legs. I was like am I doing this right? So I carried on anyway hoping for some results. My muscles which were "heated" tensed in a weird way then and I got excited because I thought this was SP. It then stayed tensed for like 5 more breath cycles but nothing happened so I gave up. I had no HI or anything in this time.

How close was I? Did I get anywhere?
      Working on: Daily awareness.
Lucid Task: Reverse the flow of a waterfall and ride up it.

      A couple questions:

How did you breathe lying face down?

What do you mean by "I gave up"? Did you go to sleep? Get out of bed?

As long as you were in a comfortable position then it doesn't matter how you lay. I would suggest trying Jeff777's technique first, before trying others. It is one of the most simple and scientific methods out there. If it doesn't work, then I would move on to other techniques. Here is the link: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=42271
It sounds like you were in the early stages of the WILD technique, which isn't bad at all for your first time. WILDing takes some practice and patience. Good Luck in your future efforts.
