It's impossible to say if you've been trying too hard without knowing what you've been trying to do. I'm assuming you're trying to become lucid. Or are you just trying to induce a dream about a particular subject? In general, what you expect to happen is what will happen. Say, for example, that someone is afraid to look into mirrors because they heard that the reflection will be scary. If they stress about it before going to bed, chances are they will have a dream where they look into a mirror and there will be something scary about it. Do you think that same idea could be applied to your situation, or is your problem unrelated? |
