      new to lucid dreaming

I just finished reading the whole tutorial on the homepage and I must say, this seems like something I would enjoy a lot.

Starting today I am going to start keeping a dream journal in hopes of improving my dream recall and ultimately having lucid dreams.

I'm really excited about this! If you have any tips for me, fire away!

Congratulations on taking your first step to lucidity! Its personally become a hobby and important part of life for me now.

The tip I have been giving people is to try reverse blinking if all else fails. It works great to get you into SP, and helps me achieve amazing LDs with WBTB. Also view this:

Any words like WILD, DILD, or strange acronyms are listed here.

Welcome to Dream Views! I see you read the front page! That's some great information for the beginner to know! There are many ways of inducing lucidity, I suggest you explore and learn all about them and see what you like best. If you have any questions at all, you can PM me, or ask a question in the appropriate forum! Here is the tutorials list. Everything with an acronym in front of it is a tutorial, except for the DV Dictionary.

Most of all, have fun, and best of luck!

      Welcome to Dreamviews!

The biggest tip I have? Stick with it! You WILL have a lucid dream if you keep trying. The most helpful thing you can do is come up with a realistic routine of what you want to do (for example, write your dreams at x time every day, do a MILD before going to bed every day) and be consistent with it. Good luck!
