How are the hallucinations any different than dreaming? |
|
I hear about these halluciations, and that once someone felt like a wolf came through the door and jump on the bed. THAT WILL SOOO FREAK ME OUT! I know it isn't real, but they are keeping me from attempting to WILD. TY |

Its Weird you say that... I've experienced some sort of Wolf like Creature in Sleep Paralysis. |

You just need to stay completely relaxed. Act as if you aren't even there. Your nothing but a thought. The more you think about other things, the less you are focusing on your goal. |
|
stop trying to dox me. your getting no where.
I have read a few scary things on the subject, but you have to just go for it. Most people just see colors, that falling feeling, or faint whispers. I only see the colors and the falling feeling |

If you start WILD thinking about those scary images, they are more likely to occur. Think about happy things, and remember, it's all in your head. Not real. |

I haven't done a WILD yet, and I would probably have freakier hallucinations, because I would probably think about my nightmares..and in the middle of the night would make it freakier. I am going to sleep till 5-6 AM then get up for an hour at WILD at 7 when it's starting to get light out...and maybe it won't be as freaky then. Well anyway....just remember that it's all in your mind and nothing can happen. |
|
You might not even notice any hallucinations! I never have (in my extensive experience of 3 WILDs lol), or at least, nothing strong enough that I would call it a "hallucination". It's probably different for everybody. |
|
Nope Maybe I try to influence my senses too much. -I'm always imagining myself feeling something with my imaginary hands to try and lead me into a dream, maybe that just replaces HH. |

Well, don't knock it 'till you try it. I was also terrified my first couple of tries, but I haven't experienced any terrifying hallucinations to date and it doesn't look like I'm going to. Plus, most people don't experience full fledged SP during WILDs anyways, and if they say they do they don't know what they're talking about. |
|
I've experienced hallucinations many times over during SP, including feeling a knife being stabbed into my neck and a bee stinging me. Those are the freakiest things to experience, IMO. Everything else is easy once you experience these things! I suggest just imagining yourself in your bed alone, relaxed, and also picture yourself from the viewpoint of someone if they'd walk into the room - they'd see you perfectly asleep and calm. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

I don't want to invoke fear or anything, but I thought I'd share a little dream experience with you all. I took a brief nap on the couch the other day, and I awoke to a strange sensation of being gazed down upon by a shadowy entity faintly resembling my aunt, though she was donned in clothes close to that of a vagabond. I remember the upper part of her face, mainly her eyes and the surrounding parts, which were veiled in shadow. |
