      New here!

Hey, what's going on? I'm new here. Found the board in search of a site that will give me more information on Lucid Dreaming/Dream Control. I have lucid dreams constantly, and have been able to manipulate my dreams on several occassions..I just never knew there was a term for it until I picked up a book over the summer. I just thought I was special, LOL.

Can't wait to read about everyone else's dream control/lucid dreaming experiences Should be very interesting.

      Lucid Dreaming

      Hello

I have started becoming interested in lucid dreaming and I read the first post about the constant lucid dreams. I was interested if you can naturally have the lucid dreams or have you done techniques and if so which ones have been most effective. Thanks for the info and happy new years eve.

but the word work can be an UNDERstatement for some of us though.
determination and motivation is definately needed!

      welcome!

Do you think I should adhere to that pressing new frontier?
And leave in my wake a trip of fear? Or should I hold my head up high
And throw a wrench in spokes by, leaving the air behind me clear?

      Rookie

The whole lucid dreaming concept is new to me. I know I have had a few dreams where I was aware but I thought these where just flukes. Maybe my mind having some sort of weird short or something. Anyways I read the website and the few times I have known I was dreamin I rapidly wake up. The longest I was able to maintain my dream was a few minutes (I Believe) I flew up in the air knowing I was dreaming and immediately fell and right before hitting the ground I woke. Can anyone tell me how to keep calm maybe a tip or two.

spinning is supposed to help. you might want to ask that question in the dream control forum.

You can concentrate on the ground or your hands or any of your senses.
I heard(i havent done it yet) that is a good way in case you lose your visuals.

Try the lucidity FAQ. It's a bit...stale, but it still has something about clarity increasing and stuff:

Thank you. I told my friend about lucid dreams and he told me he has had several. this is all new to me so it's strange how other people have had these dreams I thought were just random occurences. I dunno

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
