      WILD's

I don't believe I completely understand this concept...I tried it today when I layed down for a nap and I got to the point where I was on the verge of sleep and could still think. I'm guessing thats what i need, but what do I do when I get there? Or is that even the correct way to have a WILD? I'm still attempting/practicing DILD's every night. help please!

Ah, patience. It may take over an hour to reach a dream, depending on when you attempt (for reference, it takes an hour or so at the beginning of the night, and as few as 15 minutes toward the end. It varies when you nap.).

What you describe, on the verge of sleep but could still think, sounds like a good way to WILD to me. There's no "correct" way, just different ways that work for different people. Also, since you aren't spending paragraphs describing brushes with sleep paralysis, I am inclined to believe that you aren't overly focused on bodily sensations during WILD. And this is a great thing. As is keeping your DILD-senses sharp.

Really, based on the information given, you're doing fine. Keep practicing and you'll be lucid dreaming in no time.
