      Arrow RC on what topic?

      Hey there!

Xiper here, Hey I just had a question that im hoping someone can help me with... I am trying to understand what to do daytime RC's on.. I know doing them on my Dream Signs is a good idea so you know to do them in your dream when seeing a dream sign but what else is there?... Its not like you see stuff that might happen in a dream in real life to do a RC on.... Trust me if there were Dancing Pigs I would RC to practice for my dreams

Anyway this is open for posting and for people asking the same thing

      Hey there, Xiper!

I do RC's on random occasions.

Start off by questioning your surroundings. Where am I? How did I get here? Where were I before I got here? Do I remember waking up today? What date is it? Who are the people around me? Should they be here? Does this situation make sense? Is something out of place?

Become extremely aware of everything around you. Sounds, feelings, your own breathing, colors, shapes etc.

You should also get into the habit of RCing when you experience/see something that's out of the ordinary.

In addition to this you can also test your state by using some traditional RC methods, such as counting your fingers or reading a text twice.

      Good luck!

If you don't recognize any dream signs that carry over easily to your waking life, try chosing something random. Maybe set a different sign every day, as a reminder. Say, every time you walk through a doorway, or every time you hear music. It can even be something general, such as every time you talk to a family member. There in an excercise in Laberge's book that is similar to this. It was to train your prospective memory. There have been a few threads on it, such as this one by Shift:

      or, even better, this one:

I do RCs when anything strange happens. Such as somebody saying something about a dream, my vision going blurry, me losing train of thought, miscoordination, the list goes on and on..

      Smile

Oh ok... you see I thought it had to be on one or more things

Let us say one of my dream signs was a cat

I thought all of my RC had to be about a cat not just the surroundings around me...
