      strange feeling while lucid

I know this is long and if you dont want to read it all skip to the bottom where it gets to the point. I have had two lucid dreams. My first one my mom had woken me up for breakfast I went to lay on the couch to take a nap I had a false awakening but when I opened my eyes I saw someone laying next to me as if I was laying on a bed I was on my side facing them it had hit me I was on the couch and that there was no way someone else could be laying there. I realized I was dreaming and I started moving my hands just to see if I could and then I tried to stand up and I woke up. My second one I was in like the bottom of the grand canyon and something just hit me it was a dream. I started moving around trying some stuff I have read then woke up. So nothing special so far. But both times my body didnt feel normal as it does in waking life it was harder for me to move as if I was under water or like something heavy was over me. Is that normal or is there something wrong?

It's normal. I experienced the same when I knew I was dreaming but could still feel my "real body" and I find it hard to move my "dream body". I believe it is because of the SP (Sleep Paralysis) that we always experience when we're sleeping. Try to stabilize your dream like touching things around or doing reality checks. Hope it helps!
