Thread: One step closer?

Okay, so yesterday I was watching this show... and I thought for my LD that I'm going to meet a certain character in that show.
I visualized. mantras mantras mantras
So last night I had a dream, that while I didn't meet that specific character, the setting is from that show, and so are some characters, this happened in multiple dreams, though I did have one which had nothing to do with it.

But I wasn't Lucid, again I hope this means I'm getting better

Well, you try MILD? If you were able to do that with just mantras, I guess you could induce a DS into your dreams in the same way, which would help you to become lucid.

I suggest adding something like "...and I will do a reality check" to your mantra.

Oh don't worry, sometimes it takes time for the mantra to sink in, so just keep at it, lets say you tell yourself that a black dragon will be your DS and whenever you see it you will RC/become lucid, but instead, you just see a big reptile the first 3 or so days, the next 3 you see a dinosaur, then a dragon, then the black dragon, so if you stop before the first week, you would be missing a good lucid, right?

Well what I did was visualize it, though it didnt quite come out as I had in mind, it was still related, and all the mantras I did was I will be aware, have a lucid dream and will see my dream signs, do I have to be specific with the DS? And yes I will add
I will see X and I will reality check
Could See dreamsign and associate it with many DS work?

Or would planning just 1 be more convenient and have the same chances to work.

Don't think you have to be specific with the DS, just do it in the way you feel it will work the best.
And, for associating one DS with many or just one, that would depend on you, some people tend to have huge dream ADD, so having many would be good (hard to focus on just one), while if you tend to focus on stuff when dreamng, I would recomend to go for one.
