My first remembered dream in years

Last nigh i woke up at about 4 AM and remebered my second dream that first one was fuzz but after laying there i could remeber both of them. also i know i had a third dream but i was to lazy to write is down at the time so instead i reinforced it, but when i woke upp in the morning i didnt remember it. but the good thing is that i know im making progress i can remember a fairly good amount of details from the dreams like what color the road was or what words wer on a bottle or even what people said to me and to other people so im happy. But i want to hear your opinions on how im doing so what do yah think

That sounds like excellent progress to me, especially after you said you hadn't remembered any dreams in 3 years. Now just keep at it and you'll start to remember more dreams with better detail.

There is--though I do not know how there is or why there is--a sense of infinite peace and protection in the glittering hosts of heaven. There it must be, I think, in the vast and eternal laws of matter, and not in the daily cares and sins and troubles of men, that whatever is more than animal within us must find its solace and its hope. I hope, or I could not live.

      Nice job!
I had this too, when I joined DV, and hadn't dreamed for a few years, and wanted to recall my dreams so bad. Now sometimes I just suddenly recall a dream from.. 3/4 years ago? So that may happen to you too

I get that too, although I never had this kind of problem with recall. I can still remember dreams from when I was a kid. Something about the Magic School Bus...

One sleep cycle takes about 90 minutes. The average person sleeps for 8 hours. So that would add up to 5 dreams per night.

...although some studies are now suggesting that non-REM sleep may be 'dreamworthy,' such as this university example. Some researchers think that we are always dreaming while asleep, but that REM dreams are more memorable and vivid. But this always seems to be a highly debated topic around these parts.
