Thread: Hi everybody

Hello well I guess this is my introduction. I've been lurking around the forums here for a little while, trying to get started with LDing. I've wanted to learn how to LD since I watched the film Waking Life. Seeing as how I just quit my job with the intention of taking a long term trip around the world in a couple of months, in the interim I have decided to focus my efforts on learning how to lucid dream.
I had a break through last night, I had my first lucid dream completely out of nowhere. I woke up early and stayed up for about 30 minutes and when I went back to sleep I realized I was dreaming. If any of you have played the game Fallout 3, I was in the VR town Tranqulity Lane, the one that the overseer of vault 112 has set up for his vault dwellers LOL!!! Anyway I realized I was dreaming and I tried to drive a car, but I couldn't steer it and drove it up into a yard. It was at this point that the dream started to fade away. I tried the spinning technique but I lost it. I didn't remember it for hours after I woke up until someone said the word "dream" on the radio, then it popped back into my brain! kinda wild.
Anyway it left me with a yearning to explore more. I hope I can learn some good techniques from you guys so I can get good at this. Thanks
