Hey there, First let me introduce myself. I am a 14 year old living in the Middle East. I have been lucid dreaming for a long time now, maybe 2 and a half years. I have already experienced full control over my dreams and now am learning to prolong them. I did not need to initiate lucidity, don't know why, but once in a dream it just suddenly popped up in my mind that this is a dream and from since then, I have been lucid dreaming about 75% of the time and neither do I need to do reality checks, the weirdness of the dream is enough for me. Also I have experienced other phenomenon such as false awakenings, forced awakenings and controlling or modification of dreams. I hope to learn new things in this forum, and share my experiences with others who have had the same dreams. Thanks, Max

Ah, so you are a natural? Natural for me, means that you do nothing to gain the ability but it is still there since early days. Anyway, welcome to DV, and hope to read your DJ, if you create one here on DV!

Welcome to Dreamviews! Congrats on your success thus far. Keep practicing and striving toward prolonging those LDs and I'm sure you will succeed. I, personally, like to perform stabilization techniques periodically during my LDs (even if the dream is already stabile). This allows me to keep my LDs stabile and help prolong my lucids. I have had many long lucids doing this process (many of them were hour+ in length). There are always new things to learn and don't be afraid to ask questions if you come across something new or interesting. Again, welcome and I hope you enjoy your stay here at Dreamviews!

thanks guys! yeah i am basically a natural, and i didnt even know that this thing was called lucid dreaming until now. I will be building a DJ soon after my exams finish. Thanx again!
