      I need some help, when I wild I get woken up by that shake when you fall asleep... help please. thx

      Is it that "jolt" you get when you think you're falling or get hit by something? They usually happen in the little "dreamlets" you get as you're dropping off to sleep. Funny enough, I only get them when I go to bed at night... when are you trying to WILD?

      i do really think they are dreamlets when you have a mini dream you flinch to dodge something in your dream but really in real life and... i cant help to move because my body is completely numb. ok well ill try to do that i guess

      So when are you trying to WILD? When you go to bed at night is definitely the worst possible time, try it after a few hours sleep, or early in the day.

      I would also recommend a little of statements added to your self hypnosis.
      When WILDing, just think something like, "Vibrating is normal and it's OK" or something similar that sounds self convincing. That will help you body to expect them and you won't lose your focus.

      Are you calling him a hypnic jerk? That's not nice!
      I like the term "dreamlets".
      did you know that baby rabbits are called "Rabblits?"

      What I have learned to do when I get that hypnic jerk feeling is to relax through it, and not to react, keep my breathing steady and slow, keep my heart rate steady, try not to release adrenaline. Easier said than done. The way I practice this is to jump into cold water (at a river in the summer time, or turn the shower on cold real fast) and try to not have my breathing jerk or hold it. You know what I mean? This is how to take control of your involuntary responses and reflexes is to work with the breath, which is both involuntary and voluntary.
      I have never heard of a way to stop the actual hypnic jerk though, just how to respond to it with equanimity.

      That happens to me all the time when I'm falling asleep. I'm like 1/2 to 3/4 asleep and I'll flinch at something and all of the sudden I'm like "wait, that's right, I'm in bed".
