Smile 15, autistic, and just plain out trying to find answers.

      hey there.
I'm 15 and i've had a few lucid dreams in the past. i've read a lot about them and its sparked my interest. i not only want to be able to do new things in my dreams but i also want to analyze them and figure out what they really are. i know all about reality checks and i keep good track of my dreams. but i just cant seem to get a good hold on my lucidity much. i dont know if its because i think differently or if i'm just not trying hard enough to be lucid. is there anything i'm missing besides the usual dream check, reality check, ect ect.

You laid a good basis for lucidity with dream recall and reality checks. You could try out some induction techniques in the tutorial section. They should help you get lucid more often. Good luck.

Try not to stress out too much over getting lucid. Definitely keep up the reality checks, and keep up the dream journal. In the past I've recommended that someone stop trying for a week or so and then try... and a lot of times it will just come naturally to you after putting so much intention into it.

Most of all, don't stress. Just do what feels best and you'll get there.

Welcome to DV! Feel free to ask me any questions.
