      getting tired of these dreams...

      hi there,
i'm looking for some kind reason to these recurring dreams. In these dreams I'm just in bed my cat is in the same place at the foot of the bed, nothing has changed from when i'm awake other than i'm floating in the air looking down on my cat who's looking up at me!...or a ghost or something i can't see is pulling at my legs and pushing my arms and i'm freaking out with fear until i wake up. other times i can just feel something in the room and then i wake up. the last option is strange as my partner felt something in the house the same night. when i wake up my body is tingling i guess with fear and i'm covered in goosebumps.

i am terrified of ghosts and the supernatural so i'm hoping someone will just say they're just dreams and nothing else!

      any help will be valued!

Well, it is only dreams! Its just that since you think about ghosts and the like, it manifests on your dreams, if you want your dream interpreted, it would be good to post it here: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...splay.php?f=30
Also, LDing is a good way to get rid of these dreams, you could fight hte nightmare off. And last, welcome to DV!

And don't forget, recurring dreams can actually help you to get lucid. Try to remember that every time you have these dreams, you are, in fact, dreaming.

I pick up a half-eaten copy of a book by Neil Gaiman, and decide this is all his fault.

Yeah that sounds pretty weird. Yes, they are just dreams. Either that or hypnagogic hallucinations (weird hallucinations you get during sleep paralysis or just falling asleep).

Don't let the fear get to you. You may just be able to turn it into something nice. You might want to try spinning into another dream, which ever you want to have.

hi teeny it seems that your dreams are happening in two different pieces, nice piece then nasty piece. this will seem like the most annoying obvious piece of advice concentrate on your cat, because he or she is someone you can trust, and have a feeling agreement (cant think of any other way to put it) that if you feel scared at any time youll protect each other till you both awake. hope that helps
