      Amateur asking for help

Hello everyone, I have not posted on this forum in a very long time. Glad to be back.

Recently I was prescribed Celexa for anxiety by a psychiatrist. Soon after I started taking the medication my dreams had become very vivid and amazingly in 1/3 of them I become lucid. (Before being on Celexa I hadn't had a lucid dream in Months) But the problem is I only stay lucid for 20 seconds before I wake up. Once I realize that I'm dreaming I can feel my body immediately wanting to wake up and my dreams start to fade away. So my question is, How do I make it so that I can stay lucid for longer without waking myself up.

Side-note: In both these dreams I was practically 100% lucid. I even did calculus in one of them to prove that I was in complete control But again It did not last very long after that.

Your mind is confused by your new state of mind and needs the logical centre of your brain to figure out what's going on. That wakes you up, the only way to get past that is to keep lucid dreaming, eventually, your brain will recognized what's going on without having to wake you up.
