      Question Some WILD problem

      Hello all o/

I heard about Lucid dreaming about a week ago and am very interested.

I allready started preparing for DILD with Reality checks and a dream journal.

      I also tried WILD.
When I tried it it was when I first went to bed. I tried to follow Adams WILD turtorial.
About ten minutes later I was in Sleep Paralysis. It wasn't really strong but there was a force oposing when I tried to move my finger. But after that I wa stuck and didn't came closer to a dream.
I didn't have any visual or audial haluzinations.
The problems I encountered where the sensations I had. I had multiple diffrent at a time.
The first I felt was a type of pulsing of my body. It reminded me of the pulsing after you cut yourself. Then my skinn felt really hot and a little vibrating of my skin.
The thing is that Adam had other sensations. He felt heavy and concentrated in falling backwards out. I tried that too but the pulsating oposed that.
Also the pulsing came and went over time and didn't get stronger. How do I reinforce this sesnsation. On what do I have to think or concentrate on?

It sounds like you might be concentrating too much. You can't just lie there and expect to enter a dream. You have to fall asleep. Give it a try in the middle of the night, after a few hours of sleep. Try to ignore what is happening to your body. Don't expect anything specific, such as paralysis or vibrations. Just fall asleep as you normally do, using something such as counting to keep yourself from going completely unconscious.

Adam's technique is very similar to what I do. After relaxing and letting my thoughts drift a little, I will imagine some sort of tactile activity. I try to ignore my real body, and focus all of my attention on the new dream body. You only want to do this visualization after you know you are really close to falling asleep. It is the last thing you do, as you enter a dream.

Thank you for your help Robot_Butler
After reading your advise and some more turtorials and tried out wild some more also at diffrent times in the night and in the afternoon I noticed something strange.
As you said I didn't expect something. But all the turtorials say that you have to concentrate on something that repeats itself to not fall asleep.
Ok I wake up in the night, go to the toilet, stretch a bit and I'm not to woken up. I then go back to bed move arround a bit and make myself comfortable. Then I start WILDing. I get into sleep paralysis in less then 5 minutes. Now most of the turtorials talk about not falling asleep. But in sleep paralysis it seems as I can't fall asleep at all. At first I did what some turtorials said, counting and saying in my mind ''I'm dreaming''. But after a while I couldn't count anymore because I lost track of the numbers and did mistakes. So I dropped the counting and went on with the ''I'm sdreaming.'' Later I also dropped dad and drifted away in thoughts and daydreams. Most turtorials say that this is a big mystake and that I would fall into a non lucid dream or just get uncocious and fall asleep. But that didn't happen. It seems like that sleep paralysis itself keeps me from sleeping in.
I'm pretty much stuck after sleep paralysis.
