      im in a slump

i had my first lucid a 3 weeks ago(for 5 secs and woke up lol) and was more excited then ever, although i didn't wake up from excitement. i woke up from blinking, the detail became so vivid, i blinked and woke up blinking. so i started remembering a dream or 2 almost every night and then for a week, i didnt remember anything. then i had 2 awesome dreams in one night, and then another week with no recall. so im kinda in a slump. any tips?

Well I am DEFINITELY not a pro but... I have some pretty good advice. DON'T BLINK! It's a DREAM. Things like blinking and breathing don't really apply in the dream world. You shouldn't have any reason to blink because your REAL eyes are closed anyway and your DREAM eyes aren't affected by eye-drying oxygen.

I remember reading somewhere, sometime that slumps can be a result of routine sleeping habits. I'd suggest changing your sleeping pattern around in some way in hopes that you might shake your recall back into shape. I notice this greatly when I spend the night in hotels. Now maybe it's just because those beds are like sleeping on a mountain of marshmallows, but it happens nonetheless. Sleep upside down or with your pillow on your head. Let me know how it works out. I'm curious as to how consistent this method is with others.
