I can't tell whether you were fully lucid or not... but if you knew you were dreaming, did you try willing your body to become lighter, telling yourself, "This is a dream, so gravity doesn't have to exist?" Did you try to will your head off the pillow, not forgetting that you were in a dream? You said you weren't 100% sure you were in your dream body, which may be part of the problem. When you jumped, did you try to stay off the ground, or did you think about how heavy you felt? Basically, in dreams, you're God. Nothing has to happen if you don't want it to. If this doesn't make a difference, then I don't know what will.
Thanks for the reply. I was definitely VERY close to full lucidity when I remembered to try and get everything more vivid by getting my senses in touch. I think I read a few threads down that in order to get out of sp you need to "roll" out of your body and I was simply trying to sit up out of bed. I know a sign of sp is your body paralyzed so maybe I needed to wait a little longer? But once I did get out of bed I was thinking of flying through the roof but maybe I guess I didn't believe it enough because it had the opposite effect lol. I think my mind was still in such a real situation because I was in my room and I'm so new at 'defying real life' stuff. Kinda like Neo when he first tried to jump across the building in the matrix.

I hope to have the same effect tonight, now that I've experienced it. We'll see.
