Smile new to site.....not new to lucid dreaming!!!

hi, ive come across this site today after telling my sister in law about my dreams yesterday. i typed vivid dreams into a search engine and now realise i have lucid dreams! basically i thought i was bonkers, i always have very vivid dreams but the odd part (and i generally have kept this to myself as i thought it was a bit mental!) is that most nights i actually control what is happening in the dream. i also wake up and fall asleep again and carry on with the dream, after reading on the subject though i think it might be false awakening? anyway the main thing is that now i know i'm not alone! i have always had lucid dreams for as long as i can remember, i always always remember my dreams and nightmares don't bother me in the slightest! i actually rather enjoy them sometimes, a bit like a good horror movie! i now realise they probably don't scare me because during the nightmare i must realise that i'm dreaming! WOW this feels good to talk about! i have some recurring dreams too if anyone is interested? i am very keen to know if anyone else feels knackered and as though they haven't slept after a lucid dream? sorry to waffle on lol

Sounds like you've used lucid dreams in all sorts of ways. Awesome, you'll fit right in claire.

You should consider yourself very lucky! I have to try to teach myself to lucid dream, because I can't yet. Knowing that you're gifted in this field, I'd suggest kicking it up a notch: doing things in your dreams that you never thought possible! Have an adventure!

Welcome Claire! Like the other posters said, you will find so many nice people who are willing to direct you in any way they can. I am quite new to both the forums and LD and I'm jealous that you have had those experiences already. Keep us posted and happy dreaming!

In the dream journal section, at the top of the site, there is a small button that says "Dream Journals" it isn't really easy to notice there, though <.<
