      Remembering Dreams...

I want to start lucid dreaming, but I cannot. I do everything to try to remember my dreams, but I just cannot! Are there any tips on how to remember dreams?

Nevermind. I actually did just remember my dream. Sad thing was, it was so lifelike, when I woke up, I confused it for reality. Then i realized it is summer and school is out.

So, new question. Is it weird that I remember my dreams AFTER moving around?

lol, that happens. Laying in bed after you wake up will help you remember your dreams.

Yes, you can still remember your dreams after you move around, sometimes I remember my dreams all day. It's just easier before you move.

Ok. It seems I never remember my dreams when laying down (unless I don't sleep in my bed).

The weird thing with the dream I just remembered was I layed down for 10-15 minutes, and nothing came to me. I posted the question about remembering dreams, and right then, I remembered my dream.

I am still working on this step and have been for several weeks. I don't think I should try LD before my dream recall becomes regular. If you remember your dreams, write them down (just jot down notes at first and then you can go back and write in more detail when you have time). This is what I've learned from these forums. Good luck with all your dreaming goals!!!

Every dream you have you should immediately write down after you wake up and recall it.
Are you keeping a dream journal? If not, you should really start one.

When I first got into LDing, once I recalled one dream and wrote it down, my recall got 10x better than it was. So just start recording them!

I am keeping a dream journal, (check in my profile), but, I don't remember my dreams when I wake up. I have to be awake for about an hour to remember them. :/
