      Are all advertisements made solely for profit? I was under the impression that some were made to spread ideologies that would benefit those spreading them. The benefit does not have to be monetary.

      Let's not digress though. My point is this: It was not funny to me because bashing on someone else for not sharing your belief is the most fucking offensive thing ever.

      Done and done. That's the way I see it, and I'm not demanding anyone else to see it the way I do. I'm not confronting you about finding it funny. You're the one who seems to have a problem in that I happen to see this issue differently than you do. The advertisement was propaganda when it could have instead painted a realistic picture of the situation with some facts or legitimate arguments in favor of going green.

      I don't have a problem, I was only sharing my opinion as well.

      And my opinion is that it should not have been taken as literal as it was.

      And while that criticising ones "belief" is generally a no go, there are certain greys.

      A commercial that is made for non-commercial purposes I would call promotional video.

      Hm, I think it's that I generally don't take offense easily or things personally.
      I really don't mind "edgy movies" for example or even enjoy controversial ideas.
      And this spot I'm just not taking very seriously.

      But I get your point, too. And of course respect it as well. :-)
