Man, I hate people who make websites like that.

People who hate people should smoke weed. Then they would see that it is useless to hate them. Therefore, if the premise of this thread is correct everyone should smoke weed. (sadly it's not).

Do something to stop them if they are doing something bad, if not there's no reason to have beef with them. Hate just clouds your judgement.

157 is a prime number. The next prime is 163 and the previous prime is 151, which with 157 form a sexy prime triplet. Taking the arithmetic mean of those primes yields 157, thus it is a balanced prime.

The more I hate on someone/something the more absorbed I become by my own genius/bullshit.

This leaves me vulnerable around the smarter folks who actually know what they're talking about. Once I've been put in my place a few times I will do 1 of 2 things:
      • Knock it off and apoligize
      • Learn where/how I'm wrong

That's what I meant by criticism, guess I worded it wrong. Hate itself isn't exactly necessary though; the more someone loves someone/something, the more absorbed they become by their own genius/bullshit as well. No? Idk, I'm horrible at getting my point across.

@GavinGill - You changed your avatar

I'll let you off with it this time...

I don't hate anyone. There are people I dislike, sure. Some people I can't be in the same room in, but it doesn't mean I hate them.

Someone once said to me that you know you hate someone when you are willing to hurt yourself to hurt them. Don't know if this is true or not, but I'm not like this with anyone currently. If I don't like someone, I avoid them. People need to lighten up and realize that they need to get rid of negatives and stop bitterly feeding them. Harder than it sounds I know, but I'm sure you guys can manage it!

Ya really hate is subjective. So you only hate them because you think you hate them. You can dislike or feel uncomfortable around someone but thats normally from the heart.

So basically by hating on something you realize that you don't gain anything from the hate and stop hating. You could just not go around thinking that you know everything in the first place. It's much nicer to learn humility from rationality than from hatred.

No, that's not it at all. I don't suddenly realize anything, I've known what I was doing that whole time. I intentionally allow myself to become a target because I like the way it feels. I gain everything through hating.

I never said I know everything nor have I given you any reason to assume that's the way I feel.

So you prefer shitty things to nice things? I'm not talking about being all nicey nice, I'm talking about things from an economic standpoint. Hate is exceedingly wasteful and unintelligent. You gain nothing from the actual act of hating, if you gain anything it's from the side effects of hating wich can be acheived through other means. You don't need to hate things in order to learn, that makes no damn sense.

Are you even serious or just trolling? You gain everything through hating? Thats fucked up.

Tell me again what the driving force behind an economy is?
      Wouldn't be greed, would it?

Ha hating hate is an untenable position but still hate is destructive and irrational. I dont hate anyone, I cannot hate anyone.

Same stormcrow. I feel like hating a person is so irrational I really can't do it. It's like being mad at your keys when you can't find them. It's just a projection of your own ignorance.

Nope, it's demand. Very different from greed. Greed is the driving force behind the our fucked in the ass economy(which is a very un-economical (not sure if that's a word)economy. We have the most wasteful culture in the history of the world. And a very hateful one at that)

People buy things because they want them or need them, not because they are greedy and want to hord them.
Some pretty hateful thoughts you got there, stonedape. But you won't learn anything from this, right?
Do you understand the difference between hate and "hating on" something? Hating on something does not require someone to hate it. I'll explain this if you want but I don't think it needs to be.

I'm just being a prick because you kinda sound like a troll. If it bothers you I'll stop, but I didn't think anything I said was that harsh.

Hate is wasteful and unintelligent, there's probably whole books on that topic. And I learn things everyday without hating or even hating on things first. If you really do gain everything through hating that's kinda messed up, I'm not trying to offend you, it just makes you sound like a psychopath(not trying to say you are one, you don't seem like one in any of your other posts).

I also will take it back if I ever said that you can't learn anything from hating(I don't think I did but......). You can learn from hate, it's just an uneffective and destructive way of doing things. Why do something through uneffective destructive means when you could do it peacefully and more easily? Learning through hate is like learning through mistakes. You can do it but it's better just to get things right the first time usually.

If this is your way of peacefully tryn to teach me/make a point, it's not working.

No, actually I just like debating on the internet. It'd be nice if you did learn something, but if a person is truly going to hold an ideal they have think about it. This is a way of thinking about it for me. It's a way of exploring hate, of truly seeing that there is no point to doing it and not just basing my decision on the types of people I've seen hate like clansmen, nazis and fundamentalists from different religions. Just look on youtube, hoards of morons spouting hate to make themselves feel better. It's mind blowing.

But economy is not driven by greed. I think you're confusing the concept of economy(2a : thrifty and efficient use of material resources : frugality in expenditures; also : an instance or a means of economizing : saving b : efficient and concise use of nonmaterial resources (as effort, language, or motion)) with the economy(The wealth and resources of a country or region, esp. in terms of the production and consumption of goods and services). One refers to money and goods the other can refer to almost anything, like what is the most economic way of playing this guitar lick.

If you are convinced that economy is driven by greed would you mind explaining how it is? I don't even think that our economy is driven by greed per se, it's just manipulated by greedy people. Being wasteful and hateful have nothing to do with being greedy, other than that greedy people are often wasteful and hateful. This is because being greedy is in fact un-economical, it's not an efficient way of living.

No, I'm not confused in the least.

It means I hold an ideal of non-violence. I consider hate to be a violent(or maybe aggressive is a better word) thought pattern. I don't think it's an effective way of accomplishing anything. I like to think about this stuff and you're providing me with stuff to think about.

Ok then your just wrong, hows that? Class has nothing to do with economy. It relates to the economy. When I put the word the in front I am using the word as a noun to talk about the system of wealth and goods. When I don't I am using at as an adjective or adverb to describe the way things are done. Are they done economically? meaning are they done efficiently. What does efficiency(economy) have to do with greed?

Argument/debate/conversation. I don't care, please don't be another person to try to inform me that debates are different from arguments.

Why is it cool to hate people? Why is it fun to hate people? I think that haters look like idiots. Haters seem to be proud of their hate, which really makes them look like idiots. I don't hate haters, I am ashamed of them on their behalf. I lived in the South where I was surrounded by rednecks for hundreds of miles and they hated everyone! Bicycle riders? Hate them. Mexicans? Hate them. French? Italians? Jews? Blacks? Gays? Yankees? Vegetarians? Organic farmers? Hate them all. Even having a conversation with any of them became a conversation about who they hate. It was a source of pride for them, like how much they have to put up with. Like they complain in order to get sympathy which builds good rapport for conversation or something. They even hate the weather! But not as much as the weather in other places that they have never been to. They even talk shit about people in the next county calling THEM rednecks! One mechanic will spend hours laughing at how the other mechanic down the road is dishonest, and the other mechanic will be saying the same thing about this mechanic, but they are both honest mechanics. And it is not about competition, it is just their way of life and relating.
