If so, this is the first I've heard of it. I've always been under the impression that those feminine pop stars are admired almost exclusively by 10-14 year old girls, and that when girls become any older than that they start to prefer more masculine men. How come when I google image 'hot guy' all I see is masculinity? Also, in most of the media, the more feminine guys with bodies I'd be attracted to are usually outcasted.
The 4 pictures I posted were of the same guy, he's just older in the second two.

You're heavily attracted to both men and women though, right? Maybe that's why.

You know where "Black is Beautiful" comes from? Black people in the United States got sick of this idea from Hollywood that only White people are beautiful. No one needs to straighten their hair, or lighten their skin to become beautiful. This is what I am getting at, but no one sees my point. Maybe because I am a man, so I must be some butthurt woman-hater blah blah blah.
I agree that there is a level of brainwashing going on. However, that can't be blamed for all of it. You cannot assume that, if the brainwashing didn't happen, everyone would be considered equally beautiful. I can say with complete honesty, although I'll rarely admit it because I know it upsets people, that I am attracted exclusively to skinny white males my own age and height. Personality-wise, I must perceive them as intelligent, thoughtful, and they must be on the antisocial side. If even one of these qualities is missing, my attraction will likely fall apart. That might sound harsh, but it is the truth, and I don't think it's the result of brainwashing. I think the reason is, well, when I analyze the qualities I mentioned, I realise that I'm looking for what is pretty much a male version of myself, with some room for leniency.
I do agree with much of what you're saying, and am not at all considering your opinion to be any less valid than a female's. There is definitely brainwashing going on. But it's hard to tell how much of the general preference for Caucasians really results from that and how much would naturally occur. People are better at recognising the faces of other people with the same ethnic background. It seems to follow from that that people will be more likely attracted to others of the same ethnic background, and perhaps this is the reason. I guess what I'm trying to say is, don't fear racism so much that you're blind to the possibility that things like this might be the result of natural differences.

I'm not sure what point you're trying to make here. I actually found the Frodo character quite attractive (when I ignored the shortness, which was easy because he looked to be of normal height in most of the shots).
